Board of Water Supply crews have completed overnight repairs to the leaky valve on Kuhio Avenue near Olohana St. and re-opened the road at 3:45 a.m.
The leak had been reported yesterday morning. Repair work had required the complete closure of Kuhio Avenue in both directions between Olohana St. and Kalakaua Avenue. No customers lost water service during repair, as crews were able to bypass water to customers.
The BWS would like to thank area motorists and residents for their patience and understanding as its crews worked as quickly as possible to repair the valve and restore the road.
