Police activity near Point Vicente Lighthouse has concluded without incident. 
Personnel from Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the 6000 block of Palos Verdes Drive South in Rancho Palos Verdes at around 4:15pm in response to a call stating there was a distraught person on the edge of a cliff.
After several hours of communication with first reponders, the female subject in her 40's climbed off of the ledge without incident and is being evaluated by mental health professionals.
