Sunnyvale Fire handling 3 alarm fire on Lantana involving two homes. Please avoid the area. 
Sunnyvale Fire has been handling a 3 alarm fire on Lantana Dr since 0925 hours. Traffic on Iris, Mesquite and Lantana expected to be impacted for the next couple of hours - please avoid the area. A large amount of smoke can be seen from a great distance. All residents accounted for and no reported injuries at this time. The assistance of Santa Clara Fire was called for additional personnel at the scene. Mt. View and Santa Clara Fire provided assistance backfilling Sunnyvale fire stations.
