Upcoming Free Identity Theft Presentation

The North Cornwall Township Police Department in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office will be hosting a presentation on Identity Theft on July 31, 2014 at 5:00pm in the North Cornwall Township Meeting Room, 320 S. 18th Street Lebanon, PA.

The presenter will be Jerry Mitchell from the PA Attorney General’s Office. Jerry has worked in State Government for sixteen years specializing in computer application, cyber-crimes, and fraud.

Each year, millions of Americans have their personal information, including their name, social security number, bank account or credit card number stolen. In many cases, the thieves use this information to open phony accounts and make fraudulent purchases.

Education is the most effective means of preventing identity theft and keeping your personal information safe. Join us on July 31st @ 5pm to learn the tools you need to keep your information safe and learn what to do if you would happen to become a victim.

Anyone interested in attending the presentation is asked to please contact Sergeant Bradley Hain at bhain@nctown.org or 717-274-0464.
