Green Bay Police Apprehend 3 Subjects involved in Armed Robbery on Monday June 16th.

On Monday Night, June 16th, 2014 at approximately 9:29pm officers responded to the area of 1800 W. Mason Street for a report of an armed robbery. A Jimmy Johns delivery driver reported that while attempting to deliver sub sandwiches at 1800 W. Mason Street, he was told to go around to a side door of the building there and while walking there, he was hit in the head with a club or similar object. The driver and the assailant both ran from the area. The driver reported pain and sustained non-life-threatening injuries from being struck in the head. The assailant ran North into the woods, near Beaver Dam Creek. Officers responded to the area and very quickly set up a secure perimeter and requested a K-9 unit to assist with locating the subject.

The subject, a 20 year old white male from Kingsford, MI was quickly located by the K-9 and was bitten by the K-9 receiving minor injuries to his right arm. Charges for Armed Robbery and Battery were referred to the DA for this male.

Officers also located two other parties in the area that were associated with the robbery suspect. The first of these parties, a 23 year old white male, also from Kingsford, MI, was also referred to the DA’s office for a charge of Armed Robbery (Party to the Crime) as well as Receiving Stolen Property. The third party was a juvenile female so no additional information will be released on her.

There is some follow up investigation being completed reference this case, but it does not appear there is any ongoing danger to the public from this case. No additional information will be released at this time.
