San Leandro Police Department 7th Annual SWAT Fitness Challenge and George Mark Children House Fundraiser Update 
Attached is a photograph from the George Mark Children's House $25,000 charity donation check presentation from this morning and another photograph from the San Leandro Police Department 7th Annual SWAT Fitness Challenge NPD Team picture that was taken after we completed the event on May 29th.
Newark PD earned 1st place on the "Weighted Run" SWAT Event of the competition out of the 40 total participating SWAT Teams and placed 26th overall for SLPD 7th Annual SWAT Fitness Challenge out of the 40 total participating SWAT Teams.
More importantly, Newark PD raised the second largest amount for the George Mark Children's House charity fundraiser out of the 40 participating SWAT Teams earning a total of $1,055 for the George Mark Children's House organization through donations prior to the competition event date. Thanks to all the Newark citizens who helped Newark PD by contributing towards this wonderful organization! We exceeded our fundraising goal of $1,000 and we couldn't have done it without your help! Thank you!
