Montgomery County-Today at approximately 11:15 a.m, the Indiana State Police at the Lafayette Post was asked by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department to investigate a body found in a trailer at 8139 East 900 south in Montgomery County (this is east and south of Ladoga).
Initial investigation has revealed that a body was found inside of a trailer. Investigators and Crime Scene Technicians are still on scene at this time collecting evidence and talking to potential witnesses. It is unknown what the cause of death or how long ago the death occurred. An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow in Terre Haute to help investigators answer these questions and more. The name of the deceased will not be released until official identification is made by the Montgomery County Coroner. No other information will be released at this time. This is an on going investigation.
