Green Bay Police investigating a stabbing on Smith Street in Green Bay.

On June 14, 2014 at approximately 6:20 AM Officers from the Green Bay Police Department responded to a 911 call at 1336 Smith St regarding a stabbing that was taking place in the upper apartment. Upon our officer’s arrival, they located two victims, a 42 year old male and 24 year old female. Both victims appeared to be suffering from non-life threatening stab wounds to the face and neck areas. The female victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment while the male victim was treated at the scene and released.
During the ensuing initial investigation, a third, 22 year old, male was taken into custody and charged with 2 counts of Recklessly Endangering Safety, 2 counts of Battery, and one count of resisting arrest. A weapon was recovered by officers at the scene.
Based on the initial investigation we believe the public is not in any immediate or on-going danger resulting from this incident. This incident remains under active investigation at this time.
