4700 Ranch Road Suspicious Package. 
At approximately 7:30 pm a Sachse officer observed a suspicious package in the median of Ranch Rd. near its intersection with Cody Ln. Due to the nature of the bag, Garland Bomb Squad was requested and did respond.
After x-rays of the bag were inconclusive, Garland officers used a small explosive to open the bag. Nothing harmful was discovered. Our thanks to Garland Police for their assistance. The roads were opened for traffic at approximately 9:30 p.m.
