Police Ask Public for Info. on Vehicle vs Pedestrian Cases

The Anchorage Police Department’s Traffic Unit is asking the public for information on two open investigations involving pedestrians who were struck by vehicles; in one case the pedestrian was killed. Police have suspect vehicle information in both cases and are asking the public to provide information if they know anything further about the suspect vehicles or these cases.

“Sometimes after an incident, people hear information or realize they may have actually witnessed something that was a part of a crime,” said APD Traffic Investigator Steven Buchta. “It’s important that people provide this information to police because it could be the piece that helps us solve the puzzle and bring justice to the victims and their families.”
