On Saturday June 14th, 2014 between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. graduation ceremonies will take place at the Newark Memorial High School for the graduating class of 2014. Motorists should expect traffic delays during these times on Cedar Boulevard between Mowry Avenue and Stevenson Boulevard.

Due to the limited parking spaces, those attending the graduation ceremony are encouraged to car pool and use the parking lots on the east side of the campus along Cedar Boulevard. Local business parking lots adjacent to the school should not be used by those attending the ceremony. For those persons with disabilities, parking is available near the baseball fields. Parking laws will be enforced with fines ranging from $70-$300.

Additionally, the Newark Police Department Traffic Division will be conducting enforcement in this area during the above listed times. Enforcement will consist of but is not limited to, pedestrian safety/crosswalk violations, unsafe speed, red light violations, and failure to obey traffic controls/signs/cone patterns.
