UPDATED information on Hit and Run Crash at M-40 Hwy:
On Thursday, 06/05/2014 the driver who left the scene contacted the Cass County Sheriff's Office. The Driver was identified as Makayla Parsons, 18 yrs old of White Pigeon, MI. The passenger in the vehicle was a juvenile that Parsons was taking to school at the time of the crash. Parsons account of what occurred matched with information gathered at the scene. Parsons was issued citations related to the crash.
At this time, alcohol does not appear to have been a factor and all parties were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
