Gas has been cut off. People may return to their homes/bus. in Olde Town area. May have an odor of gas but all safe. 
Gas Company has cut off the gas line and determined it is now safe to return to the area. There may be a residual odor of gas but conditions are safe to return.
Original message: Gas line break reported at site where water department was performing work. Methodist & Presbyterian Churches, Rockdale Administrative Buildings, Law Offices and some residences in the area evacuated. Officers blocking entry on surrounding roadways.
No further evacuations anticipated at this time.
