Join us at the Special Olympics Summer Games at USC on 06-06-14 to 06-08-14

The Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch came through Torrance on Monday. Thanks to all those that came out to support our Officers as the torch ran through our city! The Special Olympic torch is on its way to the University of Southern California for the Southern California Special Olympics Summer Games Invitational.

The torch will be used to light the Special Olympics Opening Games cauldron which will start the 2014 Special Olympics Summer Games June 6th, 7th & 8th. More than 1,500 athletes from around Southern California will be participating in the Summer Games.

The Summer Games will be held on the USC Campus. This year will be a large event and will be in preparation for the 2015 World Games, which Special Olympics of Southern California will host. This will be the largest Southern California competition of the year. This event is open to the public. Come out and support your local Special Olympic athletes!
