Bank Robbery - Vista

The Sheriff's Department wants your help in identifying and finding a man who robbed a bank in Vista.

It happened around noon on Saturday, May 31st at the Citibank branch located in the 1600 block of South Melrose.

Investigators say the suspect walked into the bank and gave the teller a demand note. He then left the bank with an unknown amount of cash. No one was hurt.

These surveillance photos show the suspect during the bank robbery. Witnesses describe him as a white man in his early 20's. Pay close attention to what he's wearing, including a plaid shirt, dark baseball cap and glasses.

If you recognize the suspect or know where he is, call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest.
