1 injured in motorcycle crash

Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood Jr. reports that on 5-31-14 at 1328 hours his office responded to a motorcycle crash at the intersection of Robinson Rd and Monette St. in Jefferson Township Cass County Michigan. 56 year old Grand Haven resident Charles Everman and his passenger 57 year old Grand Haven Resident Jaci Everman were negotiating the turn onto Monette St. when Mr. Everman lost control of the motorcycle and cause it to tip over. Mr. Everman was transported by ambulance to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment and Mrs. Everman did not need further treatment and was release at the scene. Helmets were used and Alcohol is not believed to be a factor. This Case remains under investigation.
