Two incidents of larceny from autos occurred in the 6600 block Jackson Avenue, Scio Township
On Thursday, May 29th, there were two incidents of Larceny from Auto, both occurring in Scio Farms Mobile Home Community. Due to the close proximity of these incidents it is likely that both took place between 02:00 and 08:00 and were committed by the same person, who was likely on foot at the time. In addition it appears that both vehicles may have been left unlocked. There are no suspects at this time however, the investigation is ongoing.
The first incident occurred on Plum Lane. Items taken from the vehicle include two pairs of sunglasses and a small digital camera being stolen. If you have any information regarding this incident please contact Deputy Grim with the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office at 734-994-2911.
The second incident occurred on Juniper Drive. Items taken from the vehicle included a Ryobi cordless saw/drill and batteries being stolen. If you have any information regarding this incident please contact Deputy Kovach with the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office at 734-994-2911.
