Police searching for missing 10-year-old
The Arlington Police Department is actively looking for a 10-year-old runaway with a history of leaving home. Forrest Lawrence of Arlington was last seen at about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at his home in the 8400 block of Redheart Street. Forrest was being punished for problems at school and told to go to his room. When family members went to check on him later Wednesday night, he was not in his room. After a short search, Forrest’s family called 911 at about midnight. Included in this message is a photo of Forrest.
Forrest is described as black male who is about 4-feet tall, weighing approximately 65 pounds with black hair that is cut into a mohawk style. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and black shorts. There is no sign of foul play with this missing child.
When Forrest has run away in the past, he has been located in nearby backyards. So residents in the southeast Arlington area are encouraged to check around their homes. Due to the late hour and the length of time that Forrest has been missing, the Arlington Police Department is seeking the public’s help locating Forrest. If you have seen this child, please call 911.
