I-65 southbound is closed at U.S. 50 (Exit 50) due to a problem with a bridge near the 48 mile marker. This closure may be in effect for several hours. Southbound traffic is being directed onto U.S. 50 east to U.S. 31 then south on U.S. 31 to Uniontown where traffic can re-enter southbound I-65 from Exit 41.
THIS ROAD CLOSURE ONLY AFFECTS SOUTHBOUND TRAFFIC. NORTHBOUND TRAFFIC ON I-65 IS NOT AFFECTED BY THIS CLOSURE.
