I have been informed that a group may be operating in the area with a paving scam. This is a fairly common tactic in which a resident will be contacted by some sort of driveway paving contractor, who has "extra material" and wants to give that person a great deal to get rid of it. The scam comes in when the job is finished and the final bill is much bigger than the initial quote. The moral of this scam is simple, if the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.
