OSBI Investigates Lawton Police-Involved Shooting, Subject Survives
Saturday night, the Lawton Police Department requested OSBI agents investigate a police-involved shooting outside a residence at 1501 NW Williams. The initial report to OSBI was that the subject had died from his injuries. Forty-year-old Duffy Randolph Ahhaity was transported to Comanche County Memorial with a gunshot wound to the chest. He is expected to survive the injury.
When finished with the investigation, the OSBI case agent will give the district attorney a prosecution report. The district attorney will determine whether the shooting was justified.
