Officers investigating a suspicious vehicle Lake Harbor/Sunset 
Norton Shores officers are investigating a suspicious vehicle seen in the area of Lake Harbor Rd and Sunset. A black pickup truck drove slowly past school aged children twice on May 15, 2014 at approx 3:30 pm. The second time the truck stopped after passing the children and then backed up towards them. The children wisely ran away to seek assistance. A bus driver in the area saw the situation and called 911. The truck fled the scene before officers arrived. A license plate was not obtained.
The driver is described as a white male, dark hair with a light patch in front. His intent is not known as he did not say anything to the children; however, both the children and the bus driver described the situation as suspicious.
