Strong Armed Robbery of Purse in Walnut Creek 
UPDATE MESSAGE:
On 5/14/14, Detectives from the Walnut Creek Police Department served two search warrants in Pittsburg related to this investigation. The Pittsburg Police Department assisted with the service of the warrants. Two 17 year old juveniles were arrested in connection with the case. Both were arrested in Pittsburg and booked into Juvenile Hall. One was arrested for felony grand theft from a person and conspiracy. The second juvenile was arrested for felony assault with a deadly weapon and grand theft from a person.
The descriptions provided by witnesses after this incident were invaluable in helping to identify the suspects.

On 05/09/14 at approximately 1044 hours, a woman was walking westbound on Olympic Blvd near S. Main St. A suspect (Hispanic Male Adult in his 20's) grabbed the woman's purse and fled into the Plaza Escuela East parking garage and then fled in a white pick-up truck. There were two other Hispanic males in the vehicle.
The Walnut Creek Police Department received information a delivery truck driver was in the area and witnessed the theft. The witness is encouraged to contact the Walnut Creek Police Department at (925) 943-5844.
