Burnsville man charged with breaking into house and stealing knives and peach tea
Deputy Jennifer Trantham of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Logan Michael Pittman, 26, of Bakersville, with felony breaking and entering and felony larceny.
Chad Boyd, of Hedgewood Drive in Marion, reported on May 4 that he returned home and found Pittman exiting his residence with three hunting knives and a can of peach ice tea with a total value of $76.
Deputies responded, and Pittman was taken into custody at the scene.
The knives were recovered.
