1 Injured in crash

Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood Jr. reports that on 5/7/14 at 1356 hrs, his office was called to investigate a personal injury crash in Porter Township at the intersection of Baldwin Prairie Rd. and Wayne St. 26 yr old Union resident, Lindsey Willis and her Daughter, 8 year old Aubrey Clark, were North bound on Baldwin Prairie when an East bound vehicle driven by 62 yr old Union resident, Pamela Harmon, failed to yeild. Ms. Harmon crossed over Baldwin Prairie in front of Ms. Willis. Ms. Clark was transported to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment. Both drivers were treated and release at the scene. Seat belts were used and alcohol does not appear to be a factor. This case remains under Investigation.
