Lakewood Sheriffs advise residents to be diligent of suspicious objects due to recent explosions heard in the area. 
Lakewood Sheriff’s Station reports residents have heard the sounds of explosions in the late night to early morning hours occurring in the city of Lakewood. Personnel from Lakewood Sheriff’s Station continue to provide safety for the citizens and community we serve.
Should anyone come across any suspicious objects (inflated balloons or plastic trash bags) please notify law enforcement immediately as the bag may be filled with a flammable gas. Do not touch or disturb the object. Call Lakewood Sheriff’s Station at 562-623-3500 to report any suspicious objects.
