Marion teenager (Killy O'Connor) charged with raping 14-year-old acquaintance in 2011 
Capt. Shanon Smith of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Killy Joe O’Connor, 19, of Marler Road in Marion, with one felony count of rape.
Smith said it is alleged that O’Connor raped a 14-year-old female acquaintance in July 2011, when he was 17 years old.
The investigation led to a grand jury indictment against O’Connor.
