On Thursday (04/24/14) at 16:48 hours, Officers responded to a collision on Solano Way. The collision was the result of a 15 year old subject attempting to park his mother’s car in the garage. The juvenile made the mistake of placing the vehicle in reverse and then he mixed up the gas and brake pedals. The mistake resulted in the vehicle colliding with a neighboring residence. The juvenile then placed the vehicle in drive and accelerated back home, where he collided with the garage of his own residence. Both residences had major damage as a result of the failed parking attempts. Luckily no one was injured during the collisions.
