Flood Warning in affect for Saddle Brook until 4am (Thursday May 1st) 
As of 10:00 pm, approximately 3” of rain has fallen in our area. Moderate rainfall will continue tonight with an additional 1” to 1 ½” inches expected. Runoff will cause the Saddle River to rise above its minor flood level this evening and expected to crest above the minor flood level shortly after midnight at approximately 7.2 ft.
A flood warning means that flooding is imminent or has been reported.
Stream rises will be SLOW and flash flooding is NOT expected.
However, all residents prone to flooding should take necessary precautions immediately.
Do NOT drive your vehicle into areas where water covers the roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your vehicle to cross safely. As of 10:00 pm, there are no road closures in Saddle Brook due to flooding.
