A slow moving low pressure system currently over the Midwest will bring a steady rain starting Wednesday morning and continuing into the early morning hours on Thursday. Wednesday looks to be a washout as rainfall will be heavy at times, especially during the evening hours and into early Thursday morning. Flooding is possible as at least 2-4 inches of rainfall is expected during this time frame. An isolated t-storm with a few rumbles of thunder cannot be ruled out Wednesday night, but the biggest threat will be poor drainage flooding and flooding of small streams and rivers. Heavy rain ends early on Thursday, leaving just a few scattered showers during the morning.

Do not drive through standing water. Turn around, don't drown!
