Impersonation of Federal Law Enforcement Officer and Extortion via Pharmaceutical Scam

Calls are randomly being placed to citizens wherein the female on the other end of the phone claims to be a United States Customs and Border Patrol agent and states that you (the victim) are in violation of online pharmaceutical transactions (i.e. trafficking Viagra, Codeine, etc), presenting herself in a very professional and credible manner.
The phone number being utilized in this scam is (202) 239-7952.

As the conversation goes on, the female suspect attempts to instill fear by stating the victim’s residential address and phone number and that an arrest team is en route to their location. In an effort to extort money from the victim she states she can cancel the team if the victim is willing to pay the fines owed in the amount of $3,000 via wire transfer to the Caribbean islands.
