Salem Township Fire Department (STFD) in conjunction with the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, Western Wayne HazMat and Washtenaw County HazMat Teams fully explored the concerns of a hazardous substances in the Johnson Creek near Chubb Road. Field testing and visual inspections did NOT find any chemicals within the creek.
