Detective Jason Grindstaff of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged 49-year-old Mollie Elizabeth Broadwell McDaniel, of Charlie Drive in Marion, and 36-year-old Michael Scott Nichols, of Ridge Street in Marion, with two counts of felony breaking and entering and two counts of felony larceny.
Danny Sheline, of Black Mountain, reported that, on April 2 and 4, someone entered a house on Woody Street and stole antique china, a video game system, an antique radio, a heater, a push mower, a ladder and a clock with a total value of $2,300.
Grindstaff’s investigation led to McDaniel and Nichols.
