Sunnyvale DPS Requests Residents to Be On the Lookout for Residential Burglars

During the past week, Sunnyvale has experienced a string of residential burglaries, mainly concentrated in the southwest portion of the city, south of El Camino and west of Sunnyvale-Saratoga. The burglaries are occurring during daytime hours. A vehicle of interest in these investigations is described as a dark colored 3 Series BMW or E-Class Mercedes.

Residents are reminded to keep their windows and doors locked, as well as side gates to rear yards.

Even though the recent burglaries have occurred in the southwest portion of the city, Sunnyvale DPS requests that all residents be vigilant and 'Be On the Lookout' for suspicious vehicles, persons, and activity.

If you think something looks suspicious, you are probably right! Report suspicious activity by calling 9-1-1.
