Prescription Drug Take Back Day-Ripon
On Saturday, April 26, from 10:00am through 2:00pm, staff from the Ripon Police Department will be partnering with the Drug Enforcement Agency in the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
The event is free, and allows community members to drive up to a drop off location, anonymously deposit unused, unwanted, and expired prescriptions for safe disposal, and keeps prescription pills out of our landfills and waterways.
Students from the University of the Pacific School of Pharmacy will also be on hand to collect medical sharps and provide consultations on over the counter medications.
