The Forest City Police Department has issued a parade permit for the Foothills 5K Run for the Wounded Warrior Project. The race is scheduled for April 19, 2014 at 8:30 am and will last about an hour. The run will be proceeding through a number of city streets so please be mindful of runners and walkers when traveling in and around the downtown area of Forest City.
5K Race Route: The race will start from the parking lot of McNair Field and will proceed to W. Main Street, to Depot St through the roundabout to Florence Street, crossover Old Caroleen Rd to Arlington St, Magnolia St, E. Main St, Elizabeth Ave, Trade St and will finish on McNair Drive at the start/finish line.
