On 04/18/2014, at approximately 8:19 A.M., officers were told about a theft from a motor vehicle in the 3900 block of Camden Lane, but were not requested to respond to the residence. At 3:40 P.M., officers were called in regards to the vehicle theft, and told of items missing from the inside of the garage of the same residence. The occupant of the residence left the garage door open, and during an approximate 30 minute time frame someone had entered the garage and taken items from within. This is a reminder to please lock your vehicles and remove all items of value from within. Also, ensure your garage door is closed if not inside the garage in order to prevent potential thefts from within the garage.
