Coweta Man Arrested for Lewd Acts w/ Child 
Alert parents recently contacted the Coweta Police Department about a 71-year-old man who was sending harassing text messages to their daughter. About the same time, the Department of Human Services received an anonymous tip about an unlicensed daycare center in Coweta. Coweta police requested OSBI assistance in the texting case. Agents and officers interviewed Eugene Burchett (d.o.b. 12-26-1942) today and arrested him for two counts of lewd molestation. Burchett is also a Coweta school bus driver. Burchett lived at the home where the above mentioned unlicensed daycare center was operating - 15537 S. 291 Street East Avenue. OSBI believes he may have targeted even more children. Burchett was booked into the Wagoner County jail.
