Cass County Sheriff Joseph Underwood Jr. reports that on 4-17-14 at approximately 10:20 AM Deputies responded to a
burglary in progress in the 60000 block of Born St. in Newberg Twp. Upon arrival Deputies were able to apprehend one
of the suspects who fled on foot. The other suspect described as a black male, thin build wearing a black shirt is
still at large. The suspects vehicle a small Black pickup was found still running in the homeowners driveway with stolen
property in the bed of the truck. The suspects name is being withheld pending his arraingment. The incident remains
under investigation.
