Second Facebook Robbery Suspect Identified

Ripon Ca. – On 03-22-14, a Ripon resident trying to buy merchandise from someone he met through Facebook ended up getting kidnapped and robbed at gunpoint by two suspects. Fernando Hernandez (21) of Stockton was taken into custody. He was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail on charges that included robbery, kidnapping, witness intimidation and conspiracy.

Investigators learned the second suspect was listed as “DaMob” on the “209 Sneaker Exchange” page on Facebook. The suspect has been identified as being Juan Antonio Rodriguez (21) of San Jose Ca.

The Ripon Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Juan Antonio Rodriguez. He is known to have ties to Stockton and the San Jose area. Anyone with information regarding this suspect is being urged to contact South County Crime Stoppers at 209-823-4636 or Det. Gordon West at the Ripon Police Department at 209-599-2102.

Due to the fact that a firearm was used in the commission of this crime, the public is being advised to immediately contact law enforcement if Rodriguez is located.
