Update:cancel the ATL on Allen Townsend;body located in Lake Michigan, in MI is believed to be that of Townsend. 
On April 16th, 2014, the Sheboygan Police Department received information through law enforcement notification that a unknown male had been found in Lake Michigan near Ludington, Michigan. The description of the male matched closely to Allen L. Townsend who had been reported missing to Sheboygan Police in December of 2013. Contact was made with police officials from the Mason County Sheriff's Department, Michigan for identification purposes and it is believed by law enforcement the man is Allen Townsend.
Sheboygan Police were advised the body was recovered on Tuesday, April 15th, 2014 after being observed off the shoreline by citizens. The body was eventually transported to the Mason County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy. Police have been advised there is no suspected foul play per the initial examination.
