OPD needs community assistance re. attempted bank robbery on College Ave.

Today, at about 10:15am, two suspects attempted to enter the First Federal Savings Bank in the 6000 block of College Avenue. Two suspects apparently intent on robbing the business attempted to enter but were locked out by a quick thinking and observant employee.

The first of the two suspects was described as #1 unknown race, late teens to early twenties, 5’10”, thin build, wearing a white plastic mask covering his face, light blue hoodie and blue jeans, armed with a gun. The second suspect was described as male black, late teens to early twenties, 5’10”, thin build, charcoal or grey hoodie pulled over his face.

Associated vehicle is a Toyota Camry or Corolla, 4 door, beige. The vehicle was last seen near Harwood Ave off of College Ave.
