State Dog Law Officers to canvass Borough checking for dog licenses and rabies vaccinations UPDATE - SEE MORE DETAILS ON E-MAIL. 
Pennsylvania State Dog Law Officers postponed the door to door canvass of the Borough of Mercersburg initially scheduled for Tuesday, April 15, 2014 TO FRIDAY APRIL 18, 2014.
They will be checking for dog licenses and rabies vaccinations.
Please insure your dogs are licensed and have rabies vaccinations to avoid citations and fines of up to $300.00 plus court costs.
