Distracted Driving Awareness Month- It's Not Worth It! 
The El Segundo Police Department reminds you that April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month. Police agencies throughout the state will be conducting special enforcement details to educate drivers on the dangers of driving while distracted.
In 2013, nearly 70% of CA drivers surveyed said they had been hit or nearly hit by a driver who was talking or texting on a cell phone. This dangerous trend affects all of us: drivers, passengers, and pedestrians. ESPD urges everyone to drive safely- The life you save may be your own.
