Bicycle Safety Rodeos
Ripon Ca. – Bicycle Safety Rodeos coming to local elementary schools
Over the past three years the police department has conducted free bicycle safety rodeos at our local elementary schools. The bicycle rodeos are instructed by our School Resource Officer Trevor McGinnis and our Volunteers in Police Services.
This is a perfect venue to teach children the skills and rules-of-the-road to enable them to ride a bicycle safely.
Be sure to have your children ride their bikes to school on these dates. This year’s schedule is:
April 16 – Ripona Elementary School
April 23 – Weston Elementary School
April 30 – Ripon Elementary School
May 21 – Park View Elementary School
All Bicycle Rodeos will begin at 2:15 pm and end at approximately 3:15 pm.
A Bicycle Safety Rodeo will be held at Ripon Christian Elementary School in the Fall.
