VACATION HOME BURGLAR ARRESTED
VACATION HOME BURGLAR ARRESTED
On 03-29-14, at approx. 1030 hours, Sonoma County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to the 17000 block of Summit Ave in Guerneville after an alert neighbor reported seeing a suspicious female adult and burgundy BMW sedan parked in front of a vacation home that had been burglarized back in February of 2014. The neighbor obtained the vehicle license plate number and provided the number to the Dispatcher.
Deputies arrived within minutes but the suspect and vehicle was gone. The Deputies discovered that the vacation home had been broken into and the TV was missing. PCI Detectives were notified and set up surveillance at the registered owners address in Santa Rosa.
Approx. 2 hours later, Detectives spotted the suspect vehicle in Santa Rosa and arrested the suspect Lisa Ann Lopez (42 years) of Santa Rosa without incident. The stolen flat screen TV taken from the Summit Avenue burglary was located in the back seat of the vehicle. A search of Lopez' vehicle and residence revealed more stolen property taken from vacation home burglaries in the City of Sonoma, Cloverdale, Bodega Bay, and Guerneville.
Evidence located in Lopez' vehicle linked her to other vacation home burglaries in Healdsburg and the City of Sonoma. Lopez was booked into the county jail for burglary and possession of stolen property. Detectives obtained a bail increase for Lopez to $250,000. As of the date of this press release Lopez remained in custody at the Sonoma County Jail. Any information regarding Lopez, please contact Detective Donald Fletcher at (707) 565-2185
