Eight Month Theft Related Investigation Results in Five Arrested
Harrison and Washington Counties-An investigation that started in August of 2013 in rural Washington County as a burglary and theft investigation has resulted in five arrests and is still continuing.
Warrants totaling approximately thirty felony charges were issued on February 28th of this year, for four individuals out of Washington County. The four individuals, James Cole, 44, Campbellsburg, IN; Robert C. Cole, 39, Salem, IN; Lowell T. Wilson, 48, of Palmyra, IN and Jeremy Henley, 30, from Palmyra, IN, were all arrested an incarcerated at the Washington County Jail on theft related charges.
On April 7th, Mark A. Foley, 52, from Palmyra, IN, was arrested for one count of Receiving Stolen Property, D Felony, and incarcerated at the Harrison County Jail.
The arrests stemmed from investigations of alleged possession of stolen property and/or alleged thefts of hand tools, power tools, trailers and even an ATV style vehicle from outbuildings and farm buildings in rural Washington County.
Assisting Agencies; Washington County Sheriff’s Department, Indiana Conservation Officers, the Crawford County, Harrison County and Washington County Prosecutor’s Offices.
