Asheville woman (Brittany Taylor) charged with stealing cash from stepfather's residence 
Detective Nathan Mace of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Brittany Nicole Taylor, 23, of Asheville, with one count of felony larceny.
On March 9, Jeffery Bartlett, of Smith Hill Road in Marion, reported cash missing from his residence.
Mace said his investigation led to Taylor, who is Bartlett’s stepdaughter.
