Assitance needed possible missing child

Dearborn, Mi. — The Dearborn Police Department is investigating an accident that occurred today at approximately 5:50 pm on Chase South of Ford Rd. A young boy approximately 11 years old, possibly light skinned and of Arabic descent was riding a bicycle. He was traveling west bound in the alley just south of Ford road behind the Exxon gas station, and was continuing across Chase Road. The north bound Chase traffic stopped and as the child entered the south bound lane he was struck by a vehicle. The vehicle is believed to be a silver Porche convertible with a black top. A local business camera captured an image of the vehicle (see attached).

Chief Ronald Haddad stated, “We need the public’s help in this investigation. We are asking that anyone who has any information or who witnessed the accident call the Dearborn Police Department at 313-943-2241.”
