Old Fort man charged with breaking into two of his neighbors' houses and stealing their property 
Detective Paul Alkire of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Jonathan Charles Pagliarulo, 32, of Campground Road in Old Fort, with two felony counts each of breaking and entering and larceny.
Pagliarulo was arrested in connection with break-ins at two of his neighbors’ residences.
On March 3, Vershell Leibow reported that someone broke into her house and stole an antique silverware set with an unknown value.
On March 9, Teresa Pace reported that someone broke into her home and took $835 worth of property, including a laptop computer, binoculars, coins, a camera, jewelry and a backpack.
Alkire has recovered some of the items.
